India - Pune
Dr. Sucheta Godbole is one of the finest physicians and most wonderful human beings I have ever met. I am proud to call her my Ayurveda Guru (teacher) and my friend. Her home and business are in Pune, India. She runs a very modern but traditional Ayurveda pharmacy. Shatavari, an herb for rejuvenation, had just been harvested when I was last there so everyone was busy with the process of drying etc.

India - Arunachala
I have always wanted to go to Arunachala mountain in Tamal Nadu, India. At the end of February I got to go and my guide was my good friend Vivek Naicker from South Africa. They say that walking around the mountain on a full moon helps to burn off your ego. I'll let you know, or maybe my husband should let you know (after a time!).

Austria - Ayurveda Haus at Nexenhoff
This place is a 200 year-old farm house and is now a school of Ayurveda. They are doing wonderful work and Sucheta is there 3 times a year to work with patients. If you are ever in Austria, it is about one hour outside Vienna and worth a visit. Beautiful.
