Our Staff: Kimberly Ulrich and Noah Volz
Clinical Ayurveda Specialist Kimberly Ulrich R.N., owner of Ashland Ayurveda, uses her nursing background to help clients bridge the gap between western and eastern, Allopathic and Ayurvedic medicine. She specializes in detoxification, lifestyle management and the body-mind-spirit connection. She has also traveled and trained extensively in India.
She is a graduate of the California College of Ayurveda in Grass Valley and completed Dr. Frawley's study course through the American Institute of Vedic Studies . She trained as a Panchakarma Specialist and uses this training for panchakarma classes and retreat panchakarma at Ashland Ayurveda.
In the early 1970's Kimberly lived in the North of Scotland, in the Findhorn Community for three years. This community was an amazing spiritual learning experience for her, which is at the heart of her mind–body–spirit approach to healing. “ I now see that Ayurveda has the perfect framework to hold the concepts of healing that I have known were true for most of my life,” she said.
Before and after her formal Ayurvedic training, Kimberly traveled and trained extensively in India. During a 6 month trip in 2003 she was a delegate to the International Global Health Summit in Bangalore. She has studied with many doctors in America and India: Drs. Marc Halpern, Anil Vinayak Panse, David Frawley, Vivek Shanbhag, Jadadish Bhutada and foremost with Dr. Sucheta Godbole in Pune. Kimberly has intense gratitude to these and many other souls who have aided in her practice of Ayurveda.
Kimberly is an Ayurvedic Educator and has appeared in the Southern Oregon Healthy Living and the Medford Mail Tribune.
“ It is an honor for me to be able to help people find balance within themselves. This life journey is a Blessing.”
